Yono VIP on a New Phone: Login & Setup Checklist

New Android phone? Set up Yono VIP, use your existing sign-in and keep the old phone handy until you're back in. A quick moving-day checklist.

New Android phone? Get Yono VIP onto the new device, then use the sign-in route for the account you already have. Keep your old phone handy until you can open the app and reach the account you meant to use.

Open Yono VIP at yonovip.com to check the current app download. If you only need a sign-in check, go straight to Yono VIP login help.

Before you put the old phone away

Take a minute to confirm which sign-in details you use. If the account depends on a phone number or email address, make sure you can still receive messages there.

Keep the old device available while setting up the new one. That gives you somewhere to check your existing account details or read a message before making changes to the old phone.

Will Android copy the app for me?

Do not assume every app will arrive with your phone transfer. Google says apps from outside Google Play and data from apps that do not use Android backup are among the things that do not copy during its standard setup process.

That is a general Android transfer limit, not a test of a particular Yono VIP package. If the app is missing on the new device, use the current download page rather than treating the missing icon as an account problem.

Google's Android transfer guide explains what its setup process copies.

Set up Yono VIP on the new phone

  1. Connect the new phone to a stable Wi-Fi or mobile network.
  2. Open the Yono VIP app page and use the download option currently provided.
  3. Wait until the file finishes downloading, then read the installation prompt on your phone.
  4. Open the app after installation and choose the sign-in route for your existing account if one is offered.
  5. Follow any verification steps shown by the app, then check that you have reached the intended account.

For a fuller first-install walkthrough, keep the Android setup guide open alongside this checklist. Exact app screens and device menus can vary.

App installed, but login is not working?

Separate the two jobs. Once the app opens, repeating the APK download is unlikely to explain an incorrect sign-in entry. Check the details you typed and use any recovery option shown in the app if needed.

If the app asks for a message code, make sure you are checking the number or email address linked to that sign-in. Follow its displayed instructions rather than guessing a different account.

Use login help for the next check. If an account or device restriction appears, keep the exact wording and use our customer-care guide to find a support route.

Is this an update or a new installation?

Putting the app on a new device is a fresh installation, even if your old phone already has it. Updating the app on the same phone is a different task. Our Yono VIP app-update guide covers that route.

Ready to use the new phone?
