Understand poker hand names, common actions and table details before choosing a game in Yono VIP.

Poker is easier to follow when the table language stops feeling unfamiliar. A quick look at the hand names and common actions can make the first screen much clearer.

Yono VIP lists Poker in its games menu. This guide uses standard high-hand poker terms and a Texas Hold'em example to explain the basics. Read the variant and rules shown in the app before choosing a room.

Know the hand-ranking order

For standard high-hand poker, the categories run from strongest to weakest:

  1. Royal flush
  2. Straight flush
  3. Four of a kind
  4. Full house
  5. Flush
  6. Straight
  7. Three of a kind
  8. Two pair
  9. One pair
  10. High card

Keep this list nearby as a reference while you learn the names. Different poker variants can change how cards are used, so the format matters as well as the ranking list.

Read the action buttons

Check means continuing without opening a bet when that option is available. Call matches the current bet. Raise increases it. Fold leaves the hand. All-in commits the chips a player has available in that hand.

Understanding a button is the first step. Read the displayed amount and the current action before tapping it, especially while getting used to a new table layout.

Follow a Hold'em example

In Texas Hold'em, two private cards combine with five shared cards to make the best available five-card hand. The shared cards arrive as the flop, turn and river, with rounds of action between them.

That gives the names on screen a useful order. It also explains why the hand you are looking at can change as more shared cards appear. Check the app's room description to see whether the table you selected actually uses Hold'em.

Take a minute with the room details

Before joining, find the variant, table limits, entry requirements and turn timer. Read any help attached to that format. If a symbol or amount is unclear, resolve it before starting rather than trying to learn the entire interface during your turn.

This is a useful habit even if you have played poker elsewhere. A familiar game name does not tell you every detail about a particular room.
