Yono VIP Roulette Guide: Single Zero vs Double Zero

Understand European and American roulette wheel terminology, recognise 0 versus 00, and check the rules of a specific game before making assumptions.

European roulette normally has one zero; American roulette normally has both 0 and 00. Those labels describe different wheel formats, not simply different table colours or camera views.

For Yono VIP readers exploring casino-game terminology, this guide explains the distinction. We have not verified which roulette variants, suppliers or tables are currently available in Yono VIP, so the examples below are general rules rather than a review of its app.

Single zero: the European format

A standard European wheel contains the numbers 1–36 and one zero. That makes 37 pockets altogether. The zero is separate from the numbered red and black pockets.

Look for the zero on the wheel and the matching table layout. A green section in an illustration is not enough to identify a particular game's rules; use the game's own help panel.

Double zero: the American format

A standard American wheel adds 00 to the same 1–36 and 0. That makes 38 pockets. The double zero is a separate result, not another way to write the single zero.

Evolution's roulette format descriptions distinguish its American double-zero game from single-zero European and French formats. That supplier reference explains the terminology; it does not establish that Evolution supplies games to Yono VIP.

Why the name alone is not enough

French roulette also uses a single-zero wheel, but its table presentation and special rules can differ. Likewise, a speed label describes pacing, while a live or automated label describes presentation or operation. None of those words alone tells you whether the wheel contains 00.

Before interpreting a room, identify its full variant name and read the rules attached to that exact game. Do not copy assumptions from a different app or an illustrative image.

A quick identification checklist

  • Does the wheel show 0 only, or 0 and 00?
  • Does the help panel identify the same format as the displayed layout?
  • Are any special rules or extra pockets listed?
  • Is the information from the actual game rather than an old screenshot?

Recognising the format helps you understand what is on screen. It does not predict an outcome or provide a guaranteed way to win.
